I feel blessed. I feel grateful that I get to live, work and play here in this beautiful place. I love that I get to live my life here in the Bitterroot Valley amongst some of the greatest people that I know. On top of that, I get to do what I love – helping small businesses have amazing, professional websites to help their businesses grow. I’m a lucky guy.
So … I want to give back.
I like how Webster’s dictionary defines “give back” when they say: “to provide help or financial assistance to others in appreciation of one’s own success or good fortune.” (Source) That’s what I want to do. I want to provide assistance to small businesses and non-profit organizations that need assistance. I know that not every business and organization out there can afford a nice, shiny new website. Sometimes you need some assistance and that’s where I want to help.
TwIce a year, I will be creating a professional website for small business or non-profit organization here in the Bitterroot Valley. No strings attached. All you have to do is fill out a simple application form on my website. There are two deadlines (May 15 and November 15) for each of the two websites. Depending on the reaction and feedback I receive, I may form a committee to help choose the recipient. I’ll then work with the chosen recipient to get them set-up and begin the creation process. I’m excited!
If you know someone that falls into this category … whether they’re a new small business, an existing non-profit organization or somewhere in between, go to: www.touchpointwebdesigns.com/give-back and fill out the application. I hope, and I have a feeling that it will, that this will make a significant difference in someone’s life. Living here has been a blessing to me. I want to give back and make sure it’s a blessing to them as well.
